Making as Meaning – 23rd September

This participative day is an opportunity to connect, share ideas and explore creative ways in which people can process experiences in life, in community and in the world.

Gaynor Shaw is hosting a gathering in Derby in September that everyone is invited to! A day to think, talk about and (most importantly!) participate in some of the different ways we can use the creative arts to help others to process seasons and events in their lives, in their communities and in the wider world.

The cost is free, with a recommended donation of £5 per person to cover room hire. There is a cafe bar at studio which serves drinks and light lunches – good to support local businesses. We’ll be joined by Nick Scott, a good friend of ours from New Zealand who has a passion to see the arts released in this way.

Please do invite artists and makers from your other creative networks – get a car full and come to Derby!

Nick Scott talks about the prophetic heart of Making as Meaning

Making as Meaning is not a Synergy event, we are promoting it on behalf of the organisers
