Better together – in discipleship and mission
“Discipleship is the process of becoming who Jesus would be, if He were you.” – Dallas Willard
But how do we actually do it? What practical steps can we take to help our teams and churches engage with what God is changing in their lives, thoughts, emotions, desires, and actions? And how do we “do mission” in a way that has discipleship at the very heart?
We’ll be joined over the weekend by Lucy Peppiatt of Westminster Theological Centre and Nic Harding of Kairos Connexion.
- Lucy Peppiatt teaches on spiritual formation and leadership, and Christian doctrine at WTC where she is also Principal. She’s the author of several books on discipleship and women in the Bible, and loves teaching on the person of Jesus and the work of the Spirit. She also leads a small anglican community in Bristol along with her husband Nick.
- Nic Harding is the founder of Frontline church in Liverpool, which has now been handed on to a new leadership team. Nic is now the director for Kairos Connexion which gathers together and resources local churches for discipleship and mission.
